Hosea Clothing’s new season 7 range consists of beautifully muted greys, a premium feel and luxuriously comfortable christian clothing made by and for the glory of God alone.
Substantial changes have been implemented in the business to allow for the creation of such high-quality christian apparel designed especially for our Christian friends across the globe to help empower and fortify their walk with God, encouraging others to do the same.
Regardless of the season, we have always maintained the message: ‘Born to spread the message, Created to show the light’, and this mission remains the same despite the tough circumstances of the current climate.
Our new release pertains to the struggles of the coronavirus pandemic we are all facing and provides a hopeful reminder of God’s love, grace and faithfulness
through our cosy christian hoodies, perfect for at-home fashion.
Speaking to Hosea’s founder and co-founder, some exciting insights have been revealed about the brand, season 7 and a potential season 8 (!), keep reading to find out more!
What’s new?
A huge gamechanger for us has been the recent introduction of an overseas manufacturer to create our christian clothes to the highest quality, allowing Hosea’s creative team to have more time, freedom and control with the design of our clothes. This greater creative liberty has allowed for a number of new delights which many of our customers love! Examples include our own finely embroidered Hosea logo and label:
Premium-quality christian clothing has always been important to Hosea, not only because our customers deserve the best, but so does our God. If we are making christian clothes as an expression of our glory, honour and praise to Jesus Christ, then we as Christians want to make them as well as we can and to the highest possible standard!

As our christian clothes are now being designed and created from scratch by our team, we have greater control and have decided to make our premium christian hoodies from 100% cotton, giving them an incredibly soft-touch, comfortable feel, perfect for lounging around or dressing up (check out our new Pinterest page for some outfit inspiration!)
What’s with the grey?
On the whole, most of our customers are really enjoying the neutral palette of soft muted grey tones on our christian hoodies but a few do miss the pops of colour first introduced in season 6 (to you I say, keep your eyes peeled!)
The reason for the grey is primarily to create a base-line colour palette for us to build off in future seasons. From a design standpoint, Hosea’s minimal, sleek look is something we always strive for and know our consumers respond well to, so by creating a selection of greys we can be more inclusive with what our customers desire, whilst also having some solid building-blocks for future creation.
Season 7 was predominantly about being playful with our creations because the freedom from outsourcing the supplier has allowed us to do so. Hosea has never strived to be a ‘flashy’ brand and our commitment to serving as a minimal christian clothing brand still holds true today.
Ultimately, our christian hoodies and tees represent a conversation starter, an invitation to be inquisitive and we aspire for our designs to reflect just that. Confusing designs can sometimes confuse the message we hope to portray, that’s why season 7 was so perfect to convey smaller fonts for premium christian hoodies, with hopes to continue encouraging quiet conversations.
Current favourites?
Our customers have really been loving our ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ and ‘Seek ye First’ hoodies, they’ve been our most successful from the new collection!
Our Co-founder, Anne, particularly loves the message behind ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ as it was a completely new design that emerged from the depths of lockdown when there was heavy uncertainty and we were no strangers to fear. She says that this simple message reminded her of the only certain thing in life, the only thing that will never let her down, Jesus.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

So, what’s next?
We can’t reveal much, but we know that our customers are going to love the new collection coming soon! There is so much to look forward to in season 8!
